About Me...

I have been involved in some realm of tech for over 20 years, spending a great deal of that time touring the globe as a production electrician or lighting designer - working for headlining acts from Neil Diamond to Britney Spears, 'Nsync to Blink 182, Mariah Carey to Green Day, and just about everywhere in between! Being involved in such high profile tours has given me a different perspective on the technical side of things. I've worked a handful of theaters working as a technician to a Technical Director.  I've overcome numerous hurdles in each job - whether budgetary constraints, personnel issues, or safety issues - all of which has made me the TD I am today.  I strive for safety, speed, and efficiency as often as possible! I strongly believe that you can't just look at the dollar amount as your final decision... 

For the last 10 years, I've gotten a chance to bring my real world experience to a non-profit theater company in Southern California, Encore South Bay. Together, we've been challenged to create sets with a minimal budget,

In 2009, with the help of my wife, we created a rental company, Encore Rentals, which is a full-service scenic design company that specializes in theatrical set rentals.
